Today was rather eventful for the most part, apart from getting ready for a busy day tomorrow. At 8am, we are meeting to pick up our blocks and sand from Bell Concrete, and deliver it to the WANO site. We'll be all set to start laying blocks on Sunday afternoon. I'm amazed at how fast the project is moving along, and it feels great to be making such progress.

The heroes of today are the folks at Broadcast Electronics. Last year, we ordered a new transmitter from them for WFXY, and later bought AudioVault automation for the stations from them. They have always been wonderful folks to work with. When we called them to order the new WANO transmitter on Tuesday, I assumed it would take at least a few weeks. However, I was surprised when they said they'd get it out as soon as possible. Turns out, as soon as possible was today! Less than a three-day turnaround...it arrived this morning. Thanks so much guys! Pictures of the new transmitter, or well, the boxes anyway, are below. Thanks again to SCMS who arranged the purchase for us. I mention it every day, but Mike Phelps at SCMS has been so good to us! Thank you, Mike!

I'm sure you won't begrudge me for being a bit short today, but I'm absolutely exhausted and ready for bed! I'll check in tomorrow night. Thanks again for all the thoughts, prayer and emails.

All the parts of a brand-new BE AM1A transmitter, delivered just five days after the fire!

These guys are the heroes of the day, and their transmitters are great. I'd encourage anybody to buy one.
